Every year, Queen’s takes part in the annual University-wide Open Days for prospective undergraduates. The next undergraduate open day in 2024 will be taking place on Friday 20 September.

What happens on an Open Day?

Open Days are an opportunity for prospective students to get a feel for the College, explore the facilities and help you decide whether Oxford and Queen’s might be the place for you.

Our admissions and access team, as well as our wonderful current students, will be on hand to answer your queries about the application process and college life. Our Meet the Tutors panels will also give you chance to ask subject-specific questions and gain further insight into what teaching and learning is like at Queen’s.

After you have visited us at Queen’s, you can explore the range of events and talks taking place across the whole University. You can consult the full timetable of events on the University webpage to help you plan your visit.

Overnight Accommodation for North West school groups

For state school groups in our North West link regions of Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Lancashire, and Cumbria, we are pleased to be able to offer limited overnight accommodation for one night preceding the June open days.

Unfortunately, accommodation at Queen’s is not available for the September open days. You can find information about accommodation offered across the collegiate university on the University webpage.

Visiting your college was the highlight of our trip.
