Sandra is the Administrator of the Provost’s Office, Dr Claire Craig, and joined Queen’s in Trinity Term 2024.
With a background in executive assistance, marketing and communications, and event management, Sandra has had an extensive career to date, most recently as PA to the Headteacher and Leadership Team of a popular secondary school in west Oxford. She combined this role with being the administration team manager and events manager.
Before this, Sandra’s career spanned various industries both in the private sector and public service, including a three-year post in the early 90s as Section Secretary and Acting Secretary to the Division Leader (Contracts) in NEFMA (NATO Agency of the European Fighter Aircraft) in Munich. A highlight was meeting the first test pilot for the Eurofighter prototype aircraft…as well as surviving numerous Oktoberfests!
Sandra is enjoying the varied work she is engaged in while working for the Provost, as well as the events she is involved in organising. She says that meeting the staff and students of Queen’s has been a very positive experience as the sense of camaraderie is very apparent throughout the whole of the College community.
