It was a pleasure to welcome 70 offer-holders to the College on Monday 11 March for our first ever offer-holder event. This was an opportunity for those with an offer to begin undergraduate study at Queen’s in October 2024 to familiarise themselves with the College environment now that interviews are conducted online.
Offer-holders were able to gain insight into life as an Oxford undergraduate through meeting our current members, as well as having the opportunity to meet their peers who will also be joining the student body in October. The programme also included a presentation from the College Office about student financial support, a tour of the College and Oxford, Q&A sessions with subject ambassadors, and lunch in Hall.
Fellow in Medicine Professor Chris Norbury congratulated offer-holders on their achievement in earning an offer to study at Oxford; we look forward to welcoming this cohort to the Queen’s community next academic year.
